Looks like you had Spina's first car and the second one he did with the little shocks. The sister xar was Bill Cannon's and it is now down in Menifee, I think. Looks like it just got recaged, but not by Dave. That car had a shock boss added to the main farme rail for a 10" fox to be added to the rear in case one of the big shocks failed for 'ecotech mode'! (limp for those not smart enough) Because we were testing many shock combos for Kevin, we did have some shock failures.

Have ALL old past competitive class 1 and class 2 Raceco race cars been "Retired" and are pre-runners now, or have they been demoted to class 12?. Seems they have all but disappeared. Who owns them, Where are they now? Trying to do a Raceco North American - Raceco USA family tree starting with Kreisler himself. Thanks for any input. Lot's of past winning history for sure.
I have the old John Lucas - 1999 Raceco

I believe it originally was a Class 2 with the Chevy 454 modified into a V4. Does anyone have some history? I'd planning on getting it ready for a Norra Race.

If I remember correctly, this was an old Bob Ritchie (RCR Plumbing) car. This was a La Rana race in the earily 90's, don't remember the exact year, that I raced with John Holmes who owned the car. It was the first Class 1 car I raced. Had a 2.9L FAT motor and a Bus Box. Broke the R&P during this race. It seemed so fast to me back then but nothing like current cars. It had secondary rear suspension...

Kevin Reid should remember this car.

That was a prerunner when Ritchie had it. It later went to NorCal and was raced in VORRA, then sold to john Holmes' wife as a gift to him, but I don't think he raced it, then sold again. Don't know where it went after that.

John and Ramsey raced it at a La Rana race.

Being a limited class guy most of my racing career, that started back in the La Rana days: How many miles could you get on 33" Yoks in a C1 or C2 car back then???

I know how long they lasted in 9, 16, 12, and modern V8 unlimited cars with way more tire eats them pretty quick. Just curious if a B1K was a 1, 2, 3 or 4 sets of rear Yoks in the 80's?
