I have 2004 ktm 105sx and since i have had it never been able to bleed front brake. I took it to the shop and they did but it didnt work great. Recently got new brake line and a new piston for the front master cylinder. Wont bleed the regular way but used a vacuum kit and it kinda started. Then teflon taped the bleed screw. Started working and building pressure but leaking slowly from caliper. I think its the bleed screw but I cant be sure. Is it the whole caliper? Ugh...what next?

  • rebuild the master cylinder with new plunger
  • Rebuild the caliper.. there are o-rings or seals around the piston that might be wore out.

you can order these on line or get them at your local ktm shop

so you know. the ktm calipers on the mini bikes are extremely brittle and i have found numerous pin holes in both front and rear calipers...
