Lamborgini (?) 4X

My neighbor just brought home a Lamborgini (sp?) 4x4. This thing is built! It was made in 91 and has a Contach (sp?) V12, coil overs, four wheel independent suspension, full subframe bumper to bumper. It is as built as a trophy truck. Only 60 made. oh, did I mention in addition to the V12, it has NOS. He claims he will take it to the Whiplash Point to Point. This thing is what wet dreams are made of. Anybody else ever seen one of these?

Never even heard of a 4x4 Lamborgini (sp?). You got to post a few photo's my friend.

Sounds like woody material.

Every now and then they show up for sale on Ebay or other Exotic Car sale sites.. Not much heralded for their off-road prowess. I think they quit producing in 91.

That is it! My neighbor's is black. It has 10" up travel and about 4" down travel. The A-Arms are stout. Looks like it could handle itself pretty well in the rough stuff. He swears we will find out. I'll let you know.

I saw one at Tom Barrett's in Paradise Valley (Phx, AZ). Circa early 1990s. It is a "LM002" - they shoe-horn that bad motor in there, don't they? Front engine ... many were built for -- or perhaps designed for -- ultra-rich Saudi oil types .. or is that redundant?

To blow away Oryx gazelles with WSD ...

Well, if he is at Mexico for the Whiplash race, I will see him there... I am running that race too...
