BITD posted today’s results on their IG and FB

It was a gnarly day with huge rain, water puddles, full on ponds, and mud.

Total carnage. I have never see so many busted panels and issues.

In 6100 Kyle Jergensen had a power steering line spring a leak so he finished in the back

Brandon Arthur had a early brake line failure that put him behind.

Ray Griffith had a pedal issue that kept him from the top spot.

So lots of top fast guys with issues. Nobody was safe.

We ran hard, Connor drove his fastest race today. took out a rear fender on first lap. Then hit CS 6147 as we were passing them. They spun in front of us as we went to make the pass. Took out our hood. On lap 3 our hood flew up and covered co driver. Also had a battery fail and had to stop to figure it out and switch to #2 battery.

Finished 11th after starting in 17th. Looking forward to tomorrow and hopefully moving up the ladder to top 10.

It will be a crazy race for 6100 with so many fast guys starting in the back. We will be starting next to Brandon Arthur and will be constantly thinking about Kyle making his way from the back. He will be on fire.

Mike, you know this already. It’s good to have fast guys behind you. It makes you better. If Kyle gets by then Conner needs to follow him and stay on his tail as long as possible to learn. Especially if there’s no dust.

and hold your line!, faster more experienced guys get around you much quicker if a slower guy holds the correct racing line, sounds wrong but if your ' predictable', no spastic moves to move over for faster car, it is easier to set up pass. this looks like its gonna be like an Australian pursuit race, slow guys start up front, they are a blast..also , no dust, wet, much much faster condition for offroad racing!!, i learned at Barstow on that little bit of info, almost wadded it going much quicker..

Connor drove today with Carson as co dog. I am driving tomorrow with Nick as co dog.

Brandon Arthur came over last night and gave Connor some pointers that really helped. And Connor followed Adam Housholder (he was driving Terry’s 6100) for awhile today and learned some stuff. It was good for him to follow a fast guy like Adam and learn.

Your right when there is no dust you can learn a lot from the fast guys.

I will give her hell tomorrow but will also do what I can to bring it home in one piece. We need to finish well but finish. Truck needs to be ready for the Mint.

We just ran in 8100 this morning and it was a mess out there. Tons of water holes and mud. It’s going to be a mess. Hopefully the other vehicles that go after will clean it up.

6175 Grabowski leading for 3 of the 4 laps until Kyle Craft took the lead just after the hot pits on the final lap. 6100 heat was a fun race. Multiple battles going on throughout the whole course

James Dean was leading Heat 3 until lap 3 where the motor wasn’t sounding too happy crossing PRC 1then later broke. Bailey & Lofton both run into issues leaving Sam Berri as the 1500 winner.

Connor in the 1020 put on a clinic as usual. No one else in class 10 even came close. Hajas 1080 had a solid run for 2nd in class 10.

Waiting for the TT race to start now.

Some drama with the TT race as well. Apdaly in the 2 Smiley truck had the lead all day with Voss in tow. Voss double flatted (two seprate times) on the last lap. Then Apdaly flatted on the last lap making 24 Householder the first physical finisher. Results for the weekend will be interesting.

James and his co driver actually jumped out of the class 1 after it broke. Ran and got a ride from a photographer back to the pits, got in the 6102 truck and piloted it to today’s win and overall win for the weekend in 6100. Super impressive!
