what! to be honest i have no clue what your talking about. i just starting getting wild with my editing process and whammy, out came these babies. so now i know how to do it but as far as the slang goes. shoot i dont know camera jiberish for sure

HDR=High Dynamic Range It's how you get color like in your photos with the photos only.

Saturation is color, with HDR you use multiple photos with different exposures usually with a tripod so they are all the same. Then you combine them with software. Typically when you take a photo any shadows are really dark, especially when you have a lot of bright areas. Like how everybody in front of the sunset are all silhouettes. HDR captures all the light and dark into one photo and gives it a surreal feeling.
