I picked up a Ford Bronco off "Offer Up" at the end of 2019. It was built by a few different people over the years. But now it is mine.

Front End:
  • +3" Auto fab Beams
  • Chromoly Axles
  • 4:88 gears
  • Swing Steering
  • Ram Assist
  • Custom steering box
  • Saginaw pump
  • 3.0 King coil overs
  • 2" Fox bumps
Rear End:
  • Short course 4 link
  • Full Floater Speedway ENG 9"
  • 9+ 3rd member with 4:88 gears
  • 35 Spline axles
  • Wilwood Brakes
  • 3.0 King coil overs
Exterior:
  • Auto fab "Ashley" glass (black gel coat)
  • Baja Fab hood (black gel coat)
  • Custom tigged front and rear bumpers
  • Solo motorsports roof rack
  • Rigid Industries 30" Adapt light bar
  • Rigid Industries Chase 3rd brake light (garage fab mount)
  • Method race wheels 704 Beadgrip
  • 40" Pro Comp MT's
  • Desolate 5/8 lug nuts
Interior:
  • PRP Buckets
  • PRP 45" Bench
  • PRP auto latch harnesses
  • Ipad in Mob Armor mount
  • Lowrance 5.5" GPS
  • Kenwood 110 radio
  • 4 person intercom
  • 4 carbon fiber headsets
  • Boss audio bluetooth controller and 500 watt amp
  • Vintage air Wagon Unit
  • Art Carr gate shifter with remote OD button
  • Vinyl wrapped console
  • Floor jack and handle
  • Smitty Bilt 12V Fridge Cooler
  • Smitty Bilt Air Tank
  • Dual Optima yellow top batteries
  • Fluid caddy
  • dual 5lb fire extinguishers
Motor:
  • 351 Roller
  • Edlebrock performer intake
  • BBK throttle body
  • MAF Update with dedicated ECU
  • Headers
  • Flowmaster
  • Giant radiator with dual 16" fans.
  • Dual trans coolers with fans tucked behind grill
  • Custom intake with washable filter
Trans:
  • E4OD
  • US Shift Computer
  • Tail shaft VSS
  • Kevlar clutch packs
  • Custom valve body
  • 4R100 internals
  • Custom torque converter

Since picking it up I have done a few things.

1. The ECU connector was not seated correctly and that was causing the fuel pump/ignition to lose power. It was cleaned up and greased.

2. I removed the factory steel hood and replaced with a Baja Fiber Bronco hood.

3. I added a Rigid Industries Adapt 30" Light Bar

4. Replaced the old Mastercraft seats with some custom PRP units.

Looks great, what brand and model of lights are those up front on the bumper, I've never seen them before?
What size tires 39?

Give us a spec sheet on the Bronco. Inquiring minds want to know haha :)

I picked up a trans built by Valley Trans for a Prerunner build. It has all the good stuff. I then contacted Southwest Performance for a recommendation on Torque Converters. He sent me to Dalenzie in Oceanside. They build me a solid billet unit with a mild stall, 3 disc lock up and upgraded bearings.

Next step is to get the old unit out, flush the coolers and put the new trans in. I did pick up a big cooling pan because E4OD’s hate heat.

This was the day I brought it home. I picked up in South San Diego. I made it to Rainbow CA before I had to put it on the hook.

I am exploring some wrap options. I love the rough rider style. I am trying to mix it up and keep a majority of my black. Any suggestions?

Oh, that would explain the 4WP Razor at the 500. Go big with the bottom design.

I like the bottom one also. Nice looking Bronco. I am not sure what I want to paint my 72 when it is done. My first thought is boring white and black. Or Ford metallic Blue and black. We will see, I have a ton of major body work to do.

I am working to make this factory spare tire carrier heavy duty. First thing that drives me nuts is hard it is to open. This factory rod just flexes. So I order some stuff from McMaster.
