We lost a transmission seal and puked a bunch of fluid everywhere. Caught on fire for a little bit, but no damage from the fire. davis rigged up a temporary fix, and the TCS car brought us more transmission fluid but the damage had been done and the fluid dumped out faster then we could put it in. We called it a day and drove it to the casino parking lot. Hey, at least we didn't blow up a motor this time. Congrats to Braden motorsports for the championship the first year on the truck
Thanks Steve. DMS is getting better all the time. It's a well run group with the whole family involved. First class equipment (Kent I've ridden in it and it is awesome) and a positive attitude. Keep your eyes on them. CONGRATS on the 3rd Place and GOOD LUCK in 2003! Happy Holidays my friends.
It is amazing how much a freshly gone thru engine can leak oil. As Kritter says we can't say who did the engine because we have officially been threatened with a lawsuit, but I guess that is what you get when your motor builder re-uses valve cover gaskets over and over again. Its pretty bad when the owner of the truck is changing valve cover gaskets on his engine fresh from the builder two nights before race day. I wish I had the patience and self-control that Kevin Davis does.
Racing isn't everything.............it's the only thing!!!
