Maximum suggested height for rear tow hitch???

I'm getting ready to start designing a new 2"x4" (or 2"x6") rectangular tube frame for our 1949 Jeep Willy's Pick-Up truck and I'm gonna incorporate an integral rear tow hitch into the frame. . .

. . .just wondering what the maximum height for the reciever should be?

We're aren't planning on towing with the truck regularly, but I figured I would go ahead and cover my bases just in case I ever needed to.

Thanks!

I would keep it up tight and use a drop receiver if needed, maybe plan for up to a 4" drop max. trailers vary in tongue height.

Yeah. . I wanted to keep it up as high as possible. . possibly even integrate it into the rear bumper, but I don't want to end up having to use one of those ridiculous drop hitches. . .

. . .I say ridiculous just because I haven't used them before and they look "iffy" to me, I'm just not sure if they can be trusted.
