Mesh or Screen to protect the radiator??

Im looking for screen to protect the radiator and oil coolers from rocks. What is light weight, and strong enough to protect these things from rocks?? The oil coolers are in front, behind the grill, and the radiator is in the back right behind the cab in the rear window opening. Any help would be appreciated.

Stainless steel wire mesh works great. Get it from McMaster-Carr

I was thinking SS, but found some perforated .065 aluminum with hex holes in it. I just dont think it would hold up to a rock hitting it at 80 mph.

I use both. SS mesh behind the grill and 1/4" round perforated steel on either side of the skid plate. I've never had anything punch through the perforated steel, but then I never get the truck to 80 mph either.
