Mint 400 book research - schwag

Hi all,

I’m writing a book on the history of the Mint 400. Been working on it for over a year, mostly researching in libraries, newspaper archives and interviewing some of the earliest participants.

One thing I’d like to do is create a comprehensive list of Mint 400 schwag from over the years. There are of course the Jim Beam bottles, the Mint 400 jackets, the belt buckles, the helmet bags, the programs and the Mint 400 board game.

I would value your help in crowdsourcing a complete list of stuff. Bonus points if you can tell me what year said schwas was given out. You will, of course, get a shout out in the book. I’ll provide a link to a Google spreadsheet once I start filling it in with what we’ve all collected.

Here’s a shot of my unopened Mint 400 board game.

P.S. I should mention I'm the PR guy for the Mint 400. If you have any questions, comments or recommendaitons, I can be reached at [email protected] .

I moved this request over to the Radio, TV and film thread, where I think it's more appropriate.
