We are working the camping / pitting plan and will have information soon. Last year was a step forward, but we can make it better.
Also - Imagine a world where you can park overnight in the staging lot for Tech, so you're basically already in line. Working on that too.
Info coming!

People have been doing this at SCORE tech for years, we had people sleep in the car waiting in line over night

The change in schedule allowed us to enter the race this year. We have had a booth on Fremont the last few years and splitting between downtown and primm was not possible. Looking forward to this one for sure!

The split between APEX/Fremont on Thursday and Fremont/Primm on Friday was the #1 hurdle for pretty much everyone. Racers, vendors, tech, timing & scoring, TV & Livestream, medical, you name it.. Now, with qualifying on Friday, 100% of the events happening on Thursday focus on Fremont Street and 100% of the activities happening on Friday/Saturday focus at the race site. Thursday is going to be off the hook!

Is the Mint 100% a go? Everything secured that is needed for the event to happen? Permits, Equipment, etc?

New format for this year will open up a lot of space. One day of tech on Thursday on Fremont St, then EVERYONE goes to Primm Friday and Saturday. No one has to split locations, etc. Full day of racing for limited classes on Friday plus qualifying, with spectators at Primm. Motos and Unlimiteds Saturday with two separate courses giving both groups ample time to handle business on course. Reasonable am starting times both days, racing finishing much earlier each night.

And for what it's worth, already a great list of experienced volunteers who were able to switch their schedules from March to December to help make it happen. Really looking forward to this one.

Is qualifying happening during the limited race or does qualifying start and finish before the start of the limited race?

Vegas is starting to shut down all over again they will be lucky to even have a race at all by dec. They are already back to full mask.

Clark County currently is only requiring masking for indoor locations. No restrictions on outdoor events, activities, etc. Not saying that can't change, but as of now there is no reason to believe the Mint in December is in any jeopardy. No more than any other race at this point.
