Nothing like the championship coming down to a bit of controversy. Congrats to Christopher. Interesting about the other engines being non compliant.

I'm super stoked to see LOORRS follow through and make the call to DQ the 2 Mod Karts that failed post race engine inspection. It was a difficult call considering the championship implications, but the Lucas officials followed through with it and sent a clear message that breaking the rules will not be rewarded! Congratulations to Team Polvoorde, hard work and good sportsmanship paid off! Major props to LOORRS for doing the right thing!

Yep its pretty sad! But not as a bad as the Year before when one of the Kart teams was paid $500 cash to take out a title contender. TWICE! Confirmed by the mechanic of the team that took the Cash.

The spotters area during the kart races reminds me of the bleachers at a little league game.

"If you don't hit him I'm taking away your x-station"

I used to umpire little league baseball, in my hometown, I once got yelled at by the home team parents....because I made to proper, by the book, call.

The parents are always more competitive then the kids.

TruTV, has a show called KARTLIFE, about the gokart kids running in the series that is part of the road to Indy.
The parents are nuts!!!!!!!!!!!
