This is probably a stupid question but oh well. What are the things called that attach to the bottom of a helmet to prevent dirt and what not to get into the helmet while wearing it? It's like a scarf but it attaches to the actual helmet

We call them "helmet skirts".. They attach to the helmet with Velcro and then you are supposed to tuck the bottom into your fire suit. (almost no one does that second part though) They are a SFI rated item and range in price from 40-75 dollars. We sell a few kinds at SDHQ offroad.
