Take a moment to remember all that happened on this day... Pray for those we lost, our first responders and the military who protect us and our freedom. God Bless America

The NY NY casino started a memorial days after the terrible tragedy. Sadly it has been removed for a remodel. We must never forget and teach this to the ones that were not here when it happened , to keep it from happening again.

My cousin in Jamestown NY is a true Patriot as am I. Their public elementary school (and I believe all their public schools) just announced a new policy forbidding any clothing depicting the US flag on it. It is offensive to some people. They are organizing a protest against that policy but the fact that they came up with such a policy sickens me. We should never forget what our freedom costs to get and to keep.

This story is thankfully not true:
From: Jamestown School Officials Say Allegations of a School Policy that Bans the American Flag are Untrue

“The information circulating in a Facebook post regarding a new JHS school policy that the U.S. Flag cannot be worn on student clothing is incorrect. The JHS principals hold individual class meetings with the entire student body. At all of the meetings, dress code is discussed and that in addition to not allowing clothes that promote drugs, alcohol or violence, students are also asked to refrain from wearing any clothing that could be deemed offensive to others. Examples were given of clothing that could be deemed offensive to others including the confederate flag.”

After I made the first post, I waited to board a flight this AM in Ontario. Prior to loading us a team of about a dozen SWAT officers boarded our plane with 2 dogs and conducted a 30+ minute search of the entire plane delaying us.

While we watched this happening, the airport had a moment of silence in remembrance of 9/11

Very surreal...

I carry my NYC blood donor card dated 9/12/2001 with me as a reminder. Ill never forget that day or week.
