Its been one of the worst kept secrets ever but now Jesse is posting video on Instagram showing that the #1 TT appears to have his taillights and amber lights on a switch. Suppose to stop and fix at your next pit to proceed and if it is on a switch it’s instant dq. What’s really going on, are the lights prone to malfunction or?

it very should matter, with bull poop like that Cameron Steele should be the winner of the 50th Baja 1000. They took the win away from tavo why not for this? no tail lights or yellow light. This should be brought to Score

Yea I overheard a wiring guy the other day talking about a job he did when a customer had him hide a blue light switch. poop crazy and so not right. Either drive faster and not get caught or pull over no reason to cheat.

Score will do the right thing and take the win away. How can the driver an co dog seat there and say hit the amber switch. Then stand on the Top of the box.

No possible way.

It's all political now. What do I mean? Well fallow the money. How much does Cam have? How much does Clyde Stacy have?

Sorry Cam. You loose a secound time. Now you know how Enduro Racing felt over that that BS cheater Ryan Arcaro back in 2004.

Putting a blue light on a switch isn’t an issue. I ran Vintage and Class 3 this season. I turned the blue light off when I ran CL3. There is no competitive advantage to not running a blue light, it is only to keep the car from tapped or nerfed.

Does anyone actually believe that this issue affected the outcome of the race?

I'm glad that you posted this...it's a real issue and needs to be addressed. There were multiple 6100 trucks at Parker this year that were playing this game.

I think it’s important to address this with the promoters and these vehicles should be stopped at checkpoints and can’t continue until they’re fixed.
Sorry pat dumb idea.....codog simply switches back on before checkpoints....

The hard part has always been proving it...poor(or great depending)timing is the only reason we have proof.
Any number of excuses can be used but we all know those lights are on a switch regardless of the story

So how do we police it? We all know it’s happening. Amazing to me people have to cheat at “hobby racing”. Lol
Great question Pat... want to end it?..Come down harsh, and make an example... just like the speeding on the highway, enough penalties and people really started to pay closer attention. My personal take is that it's not cool and they are scared of those chasing them down...
