Parker 425 is about 90% on BLM/State/County land, if the tribal council doesn't want to support off-road racing anymore, the main pit will have to move out to Shea Road Like it used to be in the 90's. Also, tech and contingency would just have to come back downtown... ah shucks.
Also, if you are in Parker and stop at any store on the reservation, look at your tax rate on alcohol and processed foods (ex: anything sold ready to consume).
I really hope the Tribes can continue to work with Casey as well as the local government and business leaders as this decision hurts far more than the racers. BWDC was a very fun race, and brought a lot of money to the area.
Losing ANY race is bad for the sport.
Havasu was in the works for a BITD race a few years back, but got shot down somewhere along the way... maybe it needs a second look?
