They are set up as a 501 c4 - a trade organization - they did this so they can pay for a lobbiest and the lawsuits as a primary part of their organization. CORDR is a 501 c3 which is tax deductible, but set up as an educational non-profit and only a certain amount of our funds can go directly into this type of activity. That is the difference and why ASA is not tax-deductible. Racin CPA maybe able to shed a little more light on it - but that is my understanding of the difference.
