3. Truggy is derived from the cross between a truck and a buggy. Tru - Trophy truck front suspension, not necssarily a front engine vehicle, -uggy - Buggy rear suspension, key being the signature trailing arms on a buggy. Raceco, aceco, and jimco have all made truggies.
Raceco was where the term was originally coined. The herbst truggy is still badass!!! But at heart it is a trophy truck. A buggy needs to be IRS . . .
