This is a major hit to the central coast, and all of California recreation. Hopefully the good people of off road recreation will unite and do something about this ongoing issue and not just talk about it from the sidelines. There have been many petitions, meetings, discussions leading to this, it is no surprise. A voice is only loud if it is heard. There are many groups, coalitions etc that deal with these issues, become a part of one.

At Pismo this week. Place is dead. Came in Sunday noon and had no problem finding a camping spot.

Yea, that's what I knew.
I talked to my buddy who told me this info. Winds up his neighbor just got back from Pismo. Winds up his neighbor told him that. I think it was a misunderstanding. I did some searches but couldn't find any updates from the vote a few months back.

850 - 1000 showed up at the Coastal Commission meeting....hopefully to turn the tide. Voted 8-2 to defer staff recommendations for a year.
