This is from a producer that is looking to film off roading in period. If you have any questions you can email him at films@ntlworld.com.

" I am a UK based producer currently filming a range of extreme sports videos / DVD's. As I am off-road crazy I will be creating the first two films in the dirt !

My crew & I will be filming out of LA in early November and plan to spend 2 days shooting freestyle MX & MX in the dunes / desert. We will then spend at least 1 more day filming 4 wheeled dirt action wherever we can find it.

We are particularly interested in filming fast moving action in the sand, Baja type racing and so on. Sand rails, trucks, jeeps, quads are all welcome as we create our exciting features.

I am looking for people with their own vehicles who would be up for being filmed, taking part in a fun production & earning some $$$.

I need to film within a half days drive of LA and my team will also be covering Glamis at some point for a day. We will be using a helicopter along with on board cameras and broadcast quality kit.

There is one little difference though . . . this will be for a bikes & babes type feature showcasing erotic models inbetween the action.

After this first trip we are looking for another location in the world where we can finish off the 4 wheeled off road film.

If anyone has any thoughts please reply to films@ntlworld.com

I have $200 to cover each persons expenses and I guess i can afford about 6 or 7 people with vehicles.

The only restrictions I have on me is that I cannot film anyone under 18 years old as it is an adult feature and I cannot show any logos or branding on clothing or vehicles in case we get into legal trouble. We CAN show logos if we have written permission from the company who holds copyright on the logo.

My answer to this is just to tape over the logos temporarily for the day on both clothing & vehicles."

Many thanks

make time to head up north of there to the San Fernando Valley. This is the porno capitol of Earth. You can get all you erotic supplies (both living AND battery powered), but bring your Visa Card, 'cause they don't take American Express. Happy hunting.

Speaking of off road films, at Off Road Expo I got an uninvited glimpse of something new being aired at the PCI trailer after the show closed on Saturday. (I'm so ashamed, but what could I do, I'm an addict.) From what I saw, it could be the finest desert racing video ever produced. With great TT action footage, plus a look at individual TT drivers. For me, it was the first time the TT drivers were treated as the high-talent celebrities they are. The sport needs this. Anybody know anything?

Tim I got a glimpse of the movie to at Primm. Its Dana from Fleshwound Films new truck movie like the Crusty videos. I hear he has big plans to help this sport go mainstream, all I can say is its OC local and there are big names already wanting to be apart of it.

Do we really want this sport to get that big? I don't know about anyone else but i don't want it to get mainstream. I mean it would be nice to be talking to someone and they may not care for off-roading, but you say trophy truck and they know what your talking about. I want it to get bigger, but not X-Games, not at all. I don't want to turn on ESPN and see "Prerunners! The next hardcore extreme sport!" Ya know what I am sayin. Because that is going to spaun into something stupid like "The Long Travel Mullisha" where a bunch of idiot flatbill A-holes drive around and be jerks and do big jumps and run people off the road, instead of a bunch of friends who like to off-road and hang out and talk about trucks. That is why the prerunner clubs are so great because it is a bunch of people that come together because they all have something in common, they like to have fun with their trucks, you don't have to be some wannabe and anyone can join, they don't even have to have a truck. As for the racing aspect, i do think it will help but I don't want it to become like NASCAR. Do ya know what I mean? I like our sport to be 'underground', I like the fact that not everyone knows about it, it's not trendy to like, and it's not trendy to not like, it's ours. Don't get me wrong, I love motocross, in fact I've seen all of the Crusty movies and I think they are all great, and I think this video will be great too. But look at the way freestyle motocross is now, it's so trendy and sold out and in my opinion kinda dumb. Remember back in the day of freestyle MX? It was so different and 'underground', and then when it "busted" out onto the seen it was huge, and no MXer could be happier. But now it's like when I turn on the TV and see a contest I don't even really want to watch it. I am so addicted to this sport that I don't ever want that to happen to it because I love it so much. So I think we should keep this sport the way it is. Obviously if some big TV network sees it and decides to make prerunning and off-road racing 'the next big thing' then there is not much we can do about it, but as long as we can keep control over it then we can keep it small and may I say elite. It is a south/western thing and I for one want it to stay that way, but if we keep it small I think the other people in other sports or whatever, will have alot more respect for us, not like freestyle MX has become. My point is I don't want our sport to sell out.

Anyway, thanks for letting me get that off my chest, I know I have talked a good amount of people who agree with me on this, so common back me up!

yea about prerunners getting popular and the 'long travel mulitia', lol, there are a few guys like that here in vegas, I was in my truck on the freeway one night and this 'prerunner' if you will, alls he had was front glass and 32's and clear taillights(can you say ricer?) pulls up and when ever i see a prerunner i wave or whatever to acnkowledge them, i did that to this guy and his friend and then he speed up and cuts me off then takes off. I didnt do anything cuz he was an idiot, so about 5 min. later down the freeway i see him pulled over by the NHP, i was so stoked, i started yelling out the window at him as i drove by, probably pissed off the cop though. Ive had a few instances where other prerunners pull up and cut me off or try to race. That's not for me, I show my truck off in the dirt, not on the asphalt. I would really hate to see desert racing or prerunners be like the x-games.
