You mean like an Accusump? They work great. If you aren't going with a dry sump motor I would highly recommend one. They aren't very complicated, its just a tube with a sliding piston and some plumbing.

Thanks for the reply. I understand how they work. I've assembled more than a handful of engines. I just wanted some real world experience with them. Especially the f.o.a. accumulator.

I've built plenty of fast street cars. And grew up chasing the sage council trucks. John corrao of c.j. machine fame built their class 8 truck and was a good freund of my dads. I just wanted some real life experience with an acummulator. Putting together a class 8 style 67 f1 and want to protect a fresh engine.
