The heavy metal pics are cool, but does anyone out there have any pics of some of desert icons of the past..... like the "Muddy Rudder" (Dave Brown), any of the "Petrohaulics", any of the Zimmerman/McCuen enties, Jim Copes front engine buggy, the blue house.....etc.

I know it raced Vorra for a few years.

If that's a VORRA race it must be Virginia City. We stopped racing VC in 1993 or 94. And Roy Clark does sound familiar.

The back of the picture says VC July 1988. I asked my dad and he said that Honcho was raced by Roy Clark.
Not sure where that truck is today.
My dad says Roy was from the Bay Area.
