There is a ton of info and knowledgeable people about them on IBB.
Not to take away from ORIs, but they work mostly for low speed rock crawling and that's about it. Reddots are very successful with them.
If you get the model with the really big resi, they work great, but you still need bumpstops and a sway bar, which is one of the reason why people starting buying them (not needing all the extra stuff). Problem is, the big resi shocks are insanely expensive and you could buy bypass / coilovers for the cost of these. So why wouldn't you, since they work better ? That's what I did on my rig.
they are also a lot more complex, a lot more parts inside and if you have a leak, you're screwed. Even a coilover with nothing inside will get you home on the springs alone.
