Is it a Grand Prix finish per class or will it be off the overall fast finisher?

In the case that Kenny explained once the first car in your class finishes and you come to start/finish (regardless of what lap you are on) you finish as well. So if the leader finishes their 4th lap(complete race) and you come to the SF to complete your 3rd lap you will be given the checkers and not allowed to complete lap 4.

In most cases that I have been involved with its once the first finisher of any class finishes the SF is closed for all to go out. This is common in the moto world for of all things "Grand Prix" races with multiple heats in one day. Never seen a grand prix by class. By Kenny's explanation a class 1 could finish the race in say 4 hours and no other class 1s could go out to finish after that. If it takes the first class 9 6 hours to finish all class 9' would have up to 6 hours to start their last lap. See how that could get funky?

By class I mean when one finishes all in that class get the checkered flag , if you do one less lap than the winner you still get a finish . There will still be a cut off time when no cars are allowed out on another lap and that will bee about 40 minutes before the race is timed out

Copy. Understood your original post. Done lots of races with Grand Prix finishes but had never done one by class. BITD has had the Parker 250 as a GP finish for years as they want the bikes off the course for the afternoon UTV race. Hope this new area works out for you guys Kenny.

That’s why I asked if it was by class. We started 5 rows from the back during bluewater in UTV Rally. With 100 UTVs entering the race the Pro Turbo leaders were out on lap 2 already by the time we started so we immediately lost any opportunity to get all of our laps in.
