This year is the 50th running of the SNORE 250 and this year it's in Jean NV. The track will run three 87 mile laps running most all of the mint track minus the Primm area. This is a perfect chance to get a look at the mint track a few weeks before the race at speed. It also gives you a chance to do some testing or just come out and race for the $5,000 in bonuses Terrible's Herbst has put up, or go after the $12,000 that Patrick Signs added to the SNORE points fund for 2019 Championship. SNORE is giving each entry a 50th anniversary commemorative bottle of City Lights Shine. I will have racer room rates at the Terrible's Roadhouse in Jean up soon.

Is this the only area to run in Vegas?
Just about if you have a large entry , The BLM will not issue a permit on the apex track on the north end of Vegas and south of Boulder city is a county turtle preserve . There is some spots east of the preserve but they can only have racing Nov 1 to Feb 28 with less than 100 cars

Kenny,
Can you please post the SNORE schedule with dates for 2019? I heard it was on facebook and could not find it on the SNORE website.
Also want to say yhanks to SNORE & MORE for RATR. Have not seen much kudos on the race but we thought you guys did an awesome job from timing, retrievals, volunteers, tech, etc.
Thanks

Thanks Robert that means a lot , we really worked on watering the track to the tune of 375000 gallons. The SNORE 250 has a $1000 bonus to 1st place in 5-1600 and lots of Off Road hall of fame stuff going on

Other bonuses from Terrible Herbst , $1,000 1st 5-1600 and $1,500 1st and $500 2nd 1600. Snore will also offer as an option at registration to pay $20 for the Off Road defense fund that will go to the Blue ribbon coalition to fight for racing. This will be an option and you only pay it if you want to, SNORE expects to pay the BRC $20,000 next year.

Kenny,
When you say Mint course minus Primm. Are we still going up Lucy Greys one way or another and just not going over the power plant bridge onto the Primm property? Will we be using Beer Bottle Pass? Hope so. How many remote pits? Will the gun range be Main Pit? Will the Primm dry lake bed be a remote pit?

Robert we will go in the Lucy greys no beer bottle pass Main pit is the gun range pit and pit A is upper knight ranch rd . Can't get to the roach dry lake pit ,the track runs on the access road. The track will bypass and rxr bridge area that the mint uses
