For the 50th SNORE 250 there will be a drawing for $5,000 from all the drivers of record that finish the race in the time limit . Some lucky racer will win $5,000 just for finishing the race.

Here is a map of the 11th SNORE 250 sponsored by the silver Nugget in North Las Vegas . The start was off of Las Vegas blvd west of the Apex I-15 exit . The track ran the "Rock Pile" and lots of other old mint stuff and some things that were never race on and have not been since this race.

What is the reasoning the BLM won't issue permits on the north end of Vegas? Didn't the new Mint race there and have all sorts of issues with fans?

The area that the 11th SNORE 250 raced is now in a dust (PM-10) restricted area and they will not permit racing. Nellis dunes on the back side (PABCO) is open for racing but there is only 4200 acres and you can only get a 20 mile track. Past PABCO road the BLM has said that the ground is not suited for racing and the track keeps widening due to the silt and will not issue a permit. The county and the BLM have proposed an ACEC ( restricted area) and if that happens we will never race there again.

Robert we will go in the Lucy greys no beer bottle pass Main pit is the gun range pit and pit A is upper knight ranch rd . Can't get to the roach dry lake pit ,the track runs on the access road. The track will bypass and rxr bridge area that the mint uses

Kenny,
Will Pit A at the upper knight ranch rd be the only remote pit? If so, what mile marker will it be at?

how many laps for 5/16's?

Kenny,
How many laps is 5-1600 doing? What is the race time limit? Does it start when the car takes the green or is it when the first car leaves? 87 mile laps x 3 = 261 divided by 32 to 34 mph puts a limited class car at about 7-1/2 to 8 hours with no issues. Hopefully we have at least a 9 to 10 hour window because like everyone we want the miles.

Robert,

Looks like all classes will run 3 laps except class 11 and the sportsman classes. That being said it says there is a 7 hour time limit that starts when your car leaves the line which would take a 38/mph average to finish. Here's the driver notes:
