what access will a pit pass give you at PRIMM. i have heard from some people you will be given access to the pits if you have a pass, and i have heard from others that the only way to get in to the pits is with a wrist band and to actually be with a team.

have the rules changed since last year?

A pit pass will get you into the pits, whether it be the main pits or any of the outlying pits. The wrist bands just go on the drivers and the co-drivers.

Last year at Primm they were being pricks and not letting into main pits on Friday without being banded..they also told us our scooter needs to have a pitpass.

Your best bet is to hook-up with a team and go with them to a pit. pit b was a good spot last year. If you are not part of a team PM me. I will be pitting for Brant in his one car. we will get you in some where. Tie you to the roof if we have to.

We need a couple of people who aren't afraid to change a tire to handle a roadcrossing at the North end of the course, right off Las Vegas Blvd, (about 20 minutes from the Casino). If you want passes and can stay from about 6.oo am to after dark, are reasonable sane and NOT A WHINER then pm me. I'll even teach you the secret SCORE handshake if you're really good.... Remember our motto: "It's not a job. it's an adventure!"

Tom,

Why would a roadcrossing crew need to change tires???

When vehicles pull up and stop with flats we can either change the tires or make fun of them. It's all in the name of good desert karma. Race teams have helped me out on the highway more than once in the rolling crap I formerly owned....

I don't think that will be happening. I'm pretty sure how thing were run at Henderson
will the the norm for all the Nevada races. Pit Passes, and wristbands. The recon run
with one laps for pre-running is already implimented and the pit passes have been
going on for years. Wristbands are the only thing next for Pit Crews. For all the
spectators you have the BLM to thank for that. They really need to bring back the
Fireworks race, so the spectators have a great race to watch.

Scott,

Good point... A race on the ORV land was definitely a better deal.
I think that it would have a better turnout than Henderson... the race itself, that is.

You need to place some of the blame on us racers too. The BLM set rules and we break them every race. They set speed limits on access road and are pit people break them. They set a speed limits on the pre-run and we don't follow it. They say no high speed test on the dry lake bed and we say that rule must be for the other person. They say no chasing except for the pit and we just ignore it. So the next year they add more rules so we can break more, till there final step is to close it. Then we can sit back and blame them for shutting it down.

I include my team in this statement too. So don't start bashing me.
