She is sitting on borrowed wheels, but its a roller Perfect race, did you happen to get any dimensions on the shifter. IIRC it was 1" up from center line and shifter heim 2" from that? Looking at making a pedal set and searching for ideas. RDC is great for spurring the noggin!

Got the pedals in. Jamar PRO-X to match the brakes. Nice piece. The master cylinders are sweet! Decided on the shifter and pedal too. I also got the fuel tank mostly done for version 1.0.

Thank you! I've been thrashing on V1.0 to finish by July. So far so good. I'll jump back on mine as soon as V1 is out of the shop. I hope to have tires here by the end of the month. I have the cash just need the supply. They said mid/end of April.

Well Its been awhile. Version 1.0 is out and running. Did very well out of the box. Needs a re-valve on the front and some bypass adjusting, hopefully by someone who knows what they are doing. This is the first run out at Ocotillo. Devils slide is where we decided to build the cars after seeing a Hot Wheels VW bug air it out there. Unfortunately it has been several years since then and devils slide is now too flat for much fun.

Thank you. V1 will get a set of these also after a little flat pattern clean up/adjustment. I'll make extras just in case if mishaps. I have about a 1/2" clearance at bump. Still need to add the rear vents to the fenders.

Anyone have some suggestions on keeping the air moving over the car? Getting the joys of the whirlwind return from them back. Not bad, but not having had it before annoying. Roof lip/wing? Add scoop to hood to positive pressure the under dash? I've read all the windshield posts and I know it's a fact of life, just looking to diminish it. CHP won't let me fly without

Been checking out the Dakar buggies and such. Looks like a roof, some scoops and a wing here and there. I'll add some side steps and front mud flaps. When I sat in the back seat it was great till a good turn and I was spitting out some fine desert pebbles. Still so much work to do. It was cool to run around town with both of them together. We were running GoPros filming airflow tethers. Pretty much all of the tails on the rear cage & shock area were blowing forward. Definately explains the warm air over the neck at high speed.

I had the same problem, I cut the rubber under the window in the middle and left the rubber out by the clamps...it works good...

The fans were the smallest Spal 12" fans. Upgraded to the stronger 12" Spals. Much better. The large dual row was too thick for the little fans. I would love more airflow, but having a hard time finding it. I will add a roof wing to help with the air coming back in from behind. Since this is street driven I want to avoid blocking the rear view mirror. Changing lanes with no rear visibility a pain. And I need to know when Johnny is following.

And the drift pic was the first time I let the car go out without me! The boy brought her back in one piece and had a blast. For all you fathers out there, you understand what a big leap that is for dear old dad!
