PRIMM MINI METAL RACE IS ON !

The Mini Metal Bash Class 7S shootout is going on regardless of Dirt Pilot shutting down. We are scrambling to replace the prize money. Currently we are pursuing Fabtech and Kartech. The prize money will come back, don't worry about that. Anybody have ideas for a new title sponsor?

Has anyone talked to the ford reps that go to the bitd races. They dont support score, but they love stock classes and the majority of 7s's are rangers. With the sheer amount of them at this race, ford may put some money up. Look into it.

Bruce-

It makes sense to go with a Las Vegas-based compnay (Casino, Hotel, Restaurant, etc.) A business that will actually benefit from the event taking place in their back yard, as well as the potential print and internet media exposure the event will receive.

The possibility for a primary sponsor, as well as a presenting sponsor might be worth entertaining.
Examples:

The Race Rock Cafe MINI METAL BASH Presented by El Monte RV
The Harrahs MINI METAL BASH Presented by Fabtexh
The Hard Rock Cafe MINI METAL BASH Presented by Team Ford

Just some ideas.

Best of Luck!

Ye haw! We have fourteen trucks signed up and five more guys that are definitely racing. They are: Javier Sacio, AJ Rodriguez, Cody Swanty, Ron Smith, Mike Horner. That makes our total 19 trucks! Did anybody notice Craig Stewart is in the line up…? By race weekend we will reach our goal of twenty plus entries. Very cool!!! Doug Siewert and myself have done an @ss load of work to make this thing happen. We hope everybody enjoys this very special event. So prep well, test everything, get some sleep, we'll see ya at prim! GOOD RACING

Bruce I emailed you but I also wanted to put here on the board. Thanks for all the hard work on this. I probably would not have raced this race. My truck is new and we were using the year to get it up to speed as well as get me up to speed (I am a new driver). I felt this was a rare thing in the making and I also admired the amount of work you and your counterparts put in to this. I will be arriving on Thur. night. Come have a beer I am buying.

Dirt Pilot stopped printing the magazine. However, they are going to keep the web site. So yes and no. We are still working with them on the Mini Metal Bash. Thanks for the props J.C.!

Ok so the web site is just a page. I was told they are going to continue to build it. Either way Gary Turner may elect to support our event with $. Tigger we can use help on Thursday at Primm. Can you be on hand? Poolman also.

Seventeen 7S trucks signed up for the Primm Mini Metal Bash. There are two more teams that I can think of that plan on racing Primm. This is huge for 7S. Thank you Doug, Bruce and everyone else making this happen.

Here is the latest. Doug Siewert has worked quite hard calling all the drivers and keeping the sponsor drive going. Our new title sponsors are The Converter Shop and Kartech. In addition, Fabtech had joined in. Our original prize money is restored. At last count Doug had confirmed 20 teams/trucks! Big news on the video front. Hi-Tech Sports.net has pulled out all the stops to bring race central to life. Billy and his team at Hi-Tech Sports are going to treat us all. They have retained Bob Bower as commentator and they are bringing an arsenal of video equipment and personnel. Last week Doug and Billy tested the live video set up and it did not go well. However, Billy is waaay committed and is picking up some new equipment that should get the job done. Billy and his team will be in Primm on Monday setting up, shooting footage and testing. In addition, Steve Barlow is working with Red Bull to get race central stocked with this high test body fluid and some fine looking PR and marketing types. All Primm 7S racers should look for an update in their mailbox. GOOD RACING!

Hello Bruce and RDC Member’s……hi-techsports.net is evaluating the use of internet broadcasting preceding the S.C.O.R.E PRIMM 300 awards Banquet …The internet broadcast would consisted of 7S Mini Metal Shoot-out coverage …..I need to remind everyone at this time we are still experimenting and testing new equipment …..But if there is adquit response ,the efforts for this broadcast may be heightened…….So I am very interested in hearing the input from RDC members on whether this broadcast ,if done, would be viewed
Thank you,,
