I would suggest a Barstow race early spring, ensenada to San Felipe after the Baja 500 and then rage at the river. 2 desert races 1 ride the rails race.... caliente is bad ass but i doubt it will get 20 plus cars.

Its way easier to travel to Caliente and its safer too. I know most usa 1600 guys will not take their cars south.

Hmmmm

Rage at the river and battle at primm shouldn't be in the 3 races because they will always draw good car counts

I think a Nevada race, Barstow race and a Lucerne race
2 day races and 1 night race

We need to see what the schedules are shaping up to be in order to make the decision.

I'd love to go down for a code or record race but don't think many North American teams will travel south.

Look at Ridgecrest a great 1600 track lots of rooms and no home track advantage. I would say Barstow and not Johnson valley, since the marines took the best of the area it's not that good anymore. I would look at Primm or Jean as the casino's mite add money to the purse .

Rick, just pick three races that everyone can EASILY attend and promote the hell out of it. Nothing will get done if this is decided on by committee.

These are the guidelines I would use to get the most participation.

1. Entry fee needs to be reasonable.
2. Payback needs to be very good.
3. Try to pick races from a few different promoters (in order to draw from a bigger pool of racers)
4. No point to point races, cost and logistics could turn some people away.
5. Mexico is awesome, but too many people wouldn't go. Large participation is the goal right?
6. Look for races already with good participation and build on that.
7. Spread out the 3 races as much as possible.
8. Lodging needs to plentiful and near the event.

I think a MORE Barstow race and a SNORE Jean/Primm plus one more would get the most participation.
