Sad stuff. I’ve heard the name my whole life but never met the guy. My dad used to drive a class 1 with him back in the early 90s. RIP

Rest In Peace Chet

I’ll have to look on eBay and see if I can find his diecast . It’s in that same series as the Herbst truck . It’s his blue white and yellow one . 4BB18E0E-C03B-4117-AF96-414F10C210E3.jpeg

Very sad news.
The few limited contacts with Chet where very courties, polite and professional.

Sincere condoles to the Huffman family.

Wow, sad to hear this. I've been going through old footage the last few weeks and came across some great footage we shot with Chet testing and at races back in the day. Great times.

Godspeed! Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends...

He and Dennis Dean (RIP) are probably reliving a lot of great race stories

I met Chet one time. He was a really cool guy that came across very humble. Sorry to hear he passed. RIP.

I don't know him personally, but my prayers go with his family. I hope that they find the strength that they need during this tough time.
