Ranger 4.0L Rebuild

I'm about to rebuild my 93 Ranger 4.0L and I was wondering what I could do to the block, heads and engine internals to increase performance. The truck is not a daily driver and will not be smogged. What have most class 7 guys done? What kind of horse power and torque are they getting?
