Realtime Coverage Of Klaus\'s Touring Coop!

Ok just got word from Dan Vance that Klaus's new Roush Touring Coop is down. Its at mile marker 2 from Dan's house. They are currently walking on Delaware passing Adams on the way back to the pit to get the prerunner!

Unknown problem with the coop it just dosent run....lets all wish Klaus and his trusty co-driver Dan good luck on their walk back!


Look for the next update when they make it to the pit to get the prerunner!

Just got an update!

They are turning right on Adams about a mile away from the pit!

Sidenote: the new coop is a major let down to the team.....Klaus abandoned the class 1400 Dan Vance sponsored Samari on the side of the road in Carson for the the new touring coop. BAD MOVE!

UPDATE:

They have just entered the main and are getting into the prerunner to go retrive the dan vance sponsored Samari cause the Mustang (touring coop) is a total loss.

Klaus is very fatigued from the long walk and not sure he can finish the race. He also relized he has left his race radio (cell phone) in his demobilized vehicle.

They are on their way to get the Samari so Klaus can try and finish the race. On their way they will be stoping by the coop to throw some rocks at it.

Klaus feels it might be a conspiracy that the same people who took down the website had something to do with the coop!

Update:

They are on the 405 North headed to Carson.

They stopped by the touring coop and retreived the race radio (cell phone) and once again abandoned the coop.

Ok final update:

They made it to the Dan Vance sponsored Samari and Klaus is back in it and driving home where he will get some much needed rest and relxation. He has elected to take a DNF for the day.

After thinking about it the problem has been pin pointed: When the gas gauge goes to the E the car is not going to run much longer and running an older car out of gas is not a good thing because it does not start back up easily.

Final word from Dan is that he has elected not to co-drive with Klaus anymore and will be driving his prerunner solo.

I was entertained by the play-by-play announcing and thought it was pretty funny. The thought of Klaus walking along swearing in German down a busy OC street made my day seem not so bad. Sorry Klaus that my joy came at your expense.
