Rear bypass bump angle

Hey gents,

so working on building my car and have to do upper shock mounts for the car. Had a question for the smarter gents here then me. I need to set bypass position at full bump and understand I want to get it as close to 90 degrees as possible. My question is what do I base that off of.

1. From front pivot point to center of hub then go 90 degrees off that and lean forward if i need extra down travel
2. From front pivot to center of bottom bolt on Bypass.

I appreciate the help and will attach a photo to help

I am thinking about moving the arm mounts (lower mounts) back father on the arm to help with room on shock tower.. the shock is not in position it is just resting there for reference

Basically draw a line from your pivot point and your hub center and that's what you want it to be 90 to!

Nope. Arm pivot to the lower shock pivot.

try to use the whole shock, the bypasses will work the best

am i getting the 90 degrees thing right?,at full bump the 90° is measured from the straight line from pivot through the shock mount eye, correct?

What @partybarge_pilot said. Move the lower pivot back toward the hub if you need more room for the upper mount.
