We lost Tim Schrader (aka Timmy or Lamont) last Saturday in a snowmobile accident. He was part of our Locos Mocos family and will be greatly missed. Fatal Cornice Failure above Frog Lake Cliffs

Timmy can be seen at 1:45 in this video. I put this video together back in 2014 after we lost Farmboy (Mike Hardesty, RIP) to a long battle with cancer. They drove their Toyota from Yerington, NV to Ensenada for the 2005 Baja 1000, preran and raced and then drove it home.

Lamont was truly one of a kind. He always brought life to a party. Always there to help. If you broke, he would be the first on scene with tools and a crack joke about sucking or running out of talent. He was "lamco4seasons". Snow ski, snow mobile, snow runs in the winter, fishing or boating in the summer and off-road everywhere in between. He never stopped. In the words of his oldest daughter, he did more in 43 years than most of us do in a lifetime. He would do more before breakfast than I would do in a week. It's hard to put into words. But taking words from his tributes on Facebook like half concocted plans, kamikazes, debauchery, craziness, margaritas, father, husband, friend, yard sale, bring the party, shots on me. So I'll to try and finish with a Curt Leduc ending. Godspeed to a half concocted planned shot round buying crazy booger that can fix anything and bring life to the party som-bitch--try not to suck!

I thought I was grateful to have this video after Mike died, now after Tim, it’s that much more of a treasure.
I can’t thank you enough Curtis, our family has always found so much comfort from watching it.
RIP to my two crazy big brothers 💛

What can I say about a guy who taught me so much when it comes to life and even more so with off road. I have enough stories to write a book about our adventures together. Most notably was my first trip to Baja as an adult. I had just turned 18, Tim and Farmboy decided to race the Baja 500 on a 125cc bike that Tim had just bought. . I turned out to be 1 of 2 people chasing for them. Quite the learning experience to say the least. I'll miss the tornado times, the where's Arnie's. Most of I'll miss my daughter ( Tim's god Daughter) not being able to learn all the stuff we talked about doing with him. If for anything, with all the crazy stuff he did, at least he went out with a hell of a story.
