Is there a recommended technique or build process to make the connection from the engine cage to main cage? I am trying to plan my order of operations and running into a problem fully welding the tubes from the a-pillar to the engine cage, I haven't started welding anything yet but just thinking things through.

Thanks

Tubes should come through the firewall from an upright on the chassis in the engine compartment and an upright in the interior of the vehicle that are connected through the firewall.... I connected mine with bushings so it would be easier to remove the engine cage if I need to pull the motor.....

Do your A pillars, dash bar and windshield bar. Cut holes in firewall, tack in stubs that stick past firewall like 2". Pull B pillars and tilt the A's back, fully weld windshield bar, dash bar and stubs. Reinstall. When you do the motor cage, run 2 more bars in to the dash bar to provide triangulation. Otherwise it will break the outer bars off the A pillars.
