We are volunteering for the race and bringing an RV. The plans for towing a car fell through, but we want to get to Fremont. What are our best options for parking. Thinking about parking at a Walmart and grabbing an Uber. Is there any place semi close by to park

That is the best thing you can do find a Walmart and uber over or maybe even park at Circus Circus.

There is a public lot on Ogden right off the freeway. I believe it is connected with Main Street Station. Have seen busses and rvs parked there. I don't know if overnight parking is possible?

I don't really need to park overnight just for most of the day on Friday

That lot he mentioned is for California club and Main street station. It is a big lot. However, with it being Mint contingency and a weekend I am not sure how full it will be.

Rick. I have seen that one but it always seems packed. We probably won't arrive until noon time on Friday

I've volunteered several times (and will be this year) at the Mint 400. There may appear to be available parking in the morning. And what might look like a perfectly good parking spot, might be owned by someone who has not agreed to have people parking on their property. As awesome as we think the Mint is, there are some business owners who would beg to differ. I don't agree with them, but I acknowledge they exist. As the day wears on, parking turns into a complete rodeo. You might end up getting parked in and blocked 6 ways from Sunday. The racing crowd has a lot of Type A personalities who "Have a better idea". SO you thought what was good idea in the morning may be overruled by a dozen racers by 10AM. I'd offer to carpool in with you as I'll have a smaller car. But I am uncertain what my exact assignment(s) will be. I'd suggest parking farther away and Ubering in.

main street station casino rv park is only 25.00 a night. almost worth the price for convenient rv parking for the day.
