Has anyone driven down PCH and seen that huge pile/dune on sand on the side of the road? Has anyone ever tried to do it in a truck? I was thinking of driving there at midnight in a street legal pre-runner and try to get to the top real fast. What would the consiquenses bo if you got caught?

Then you wonder why cops hassle you......
:D :D :D

People used to "do it" quite often many years ago. A few more minutes north in Oxnard was Arnold's beach which was open to ATV's and buggies until about 15 years ago.

The land is part of Sycamore Canyon State Park which is chock full of tree huggers. The tree huggers are so bad in there that they have closed trails (actually many are fire roads) to mountain bikes! Just one thing.... what are you going to do when you get to the top??

Have your friend video it and share with us once you did it...

Great - give the eco-nazi's MORE ammo against us, just what we
need. Then the video tape will make the rounds and be held up
as "Just how stupid off-roaders are" and here is the evidence,
trespassing and being destructive. There is most likely some
animal that lives there that is "being protected" too...

Doing something like that just helps their cause. And a video
of it will only make their cause have stronger evidence.

I hope you don’t do it. Go to Dumont, Pismo or Glamis if you need some sand.

What we do as an off road community is very closely watched,
on the internet and in the desert, both the good and the bad.

Do us a favor and don't do something like that, that type of
crap makes it real hard to show non-off-roaders that off-roaders are
not a bunch of stupid destructive people.

Reality check, Use your head. Dont climb that sand hill. Stuff like that only
sets us back. Yes, its like candy to a baby. Any of us would love
to play on that hill. Dont give in to your self indulgence. Even tire
tracks on that thing could get us in trouble.

A guess at the charges..

Exhibition of speed

destroying private property

reckless endangerment

taunting tree huggers

They might even hit ya with a "throwing meat at vegitarians" just to trump up the charges!
