We are building a Grand Cherokee for class 1700(JeepSpeed).

List of the goods:
We start with a '93 Grand Cherokee from JW Auto Wreckers.
Rubicon Express - Long arm suspension.
Radflo Shocks and Bump Stops - 3.0 Front, 3 tube 2.5 bypass in the rear.
Spider Trax- Spider 9 axle housings with motive gear 589's, 35 spine spool in the rear and 31 spline 9 inch in the front.
AW4 transmission built by Mark Leverett with a 249 transfer case.
Painless Engine Management System.
Custom built 4.0 with all machine work done by Douglas Machine.
PSC special built JeepSpeed steering system.
PRP Seats and belts.
Staun Beadlocks with BFG Tires.
Fiberglass front fenders from Rusty's offroad.

We started on this car last week. So far, we've got it gutted, most of the plate work done and the link mounts installed on the chassis. Our goal for this car is to take advantage of the width of the body and the wheel base. We're going to try to keep this car lower, so to do so, we've actually set the rear end up 3 inches narrower so the rear tires will stuff up in the wheel wells. We're pretty sure that this car will be heavier than a lot of the JS cars. So, we've decided to build this car to SCORE cage rules and build the main structure out of 2 inch.

Stay tuned for updates and more progress pics!

We love having a Torchmate CNC in house:D
