No where did it state it was offroad, and basically a truck form of rallycross. I know some places wouldn't allow all dirt.

I do wish it was more dirt based but times are different than old MTEG courses.

Yes, like LA didn't want them on the field for most part and that's why it was setup like it was.

That makes sense, and doesn't at the same time. Monster jam loads the dirt in twice a year at Qualcomm, and most of these stadiums for that matter.

If they're paving it then I'm done with it. There's no way it's a "venue" thing when super cross and monster jam are all dirt at the same "venue".

I have heard in the past that the DIRT used by these venues is 'owned' or 'controlled' by the big promoters. In the case of monster jam, supercross, that everyone keeps mentioning, Feld entertainment owns the 'dirt', or the rights to it, and the dirt at each venue is stored near the venue. I remember years ago the dirt for Anaheim stadium was actually kept at the north/east side of the venue. With all the expansion there over the last 20+ years, I don't know if this is the case. Now I've never seen the contracts for these, but it was explained a few years ago here somewhere and it sounded very plausible. Now if you wanted to fill it with your own dirt, hopefully it's nearby, and it's clean, and you have lots of it. We all know you can do anything with enough money, and for a start-up series, I think they have had to think outside the box with these issues. This is just a SWAG.
