...and they have class 10 starting 3/4 of the way back. A fast, modern, well prepped 10 car with a great driver could get top 5 at this race. I hope they don't run over anybody or wreck some beautiful cars on their way to the front.
This is my opinion and I know everyone won't agree, but rather than start each day based on the previous day's times they should start based on overall time. It's ridiculous that a guy leading his class because he is driving a smart pace has to start behind guys who broke down earlier but had a good run yesterday. It's like letting the team who just scored a touchdown receive the kickoff. You could conceivably finish this race top 30 overall and never start a day earlier than 60th.
