When I take off a stover nut, should I replace it with a new one? Thats what I have been doing, but i wanted to know if thats somthing i really need to do.

Thanks

Yes you should replace the bolt too! The stover nut is toast after one use and it ruins the bolt also by galling the threads...expecially with an impact. So they are one use deals if you are serious about the maintanence.
