I was on SCORE's site this evening downloading GPS files for the 500 and noticed the following:

Rule Updates Just Announced! - 5-31-16 at 5:00 PM

Trophy Trucks
Addendum to CR22 SUPERCHARGERS AND TURBOCHARGERS
As a TEST for the 2016 Baja 500, SCORE will allow Super Chargers to compete. Engine must be based on a LT4 small block Chevy Corvette engine, with a 376 cid. (6.2 liter) with a stock 10.0 to 1 compression ratio. Specs are: Bore 4.06 and Stroke 3.62 (103.25mm X 92mm). Engine must be sealed or governed to 800 horsepower or less. This is a "one-time" test to evaluate performance.

Who's running the Chevy Super Charged TT? Why just Chevy and the last minute rule "test" change?

RPM, no rumor, it has already ran at Norra. Strong little engine package for being all stock.

It seems that RPM are doing there work for racing on a near future with a Big Promoter. Using 4WD with a big HP motor looking to work out all the bugs, and now a STOCK or semi stock LS7 engine.
To me they are doing there research and homework to make a reliable Rally race truck... But in diferent plattaforms or TT first.
Isnt Justin Mattney TT lebaled as a Chevy Rally Truck??

What I don't get is why allow forced induction on a limited basis? This is Trophy Truck, unlimited truck? If they allow forced induction it should be in an unlimited fashion! Let those who push the envelope too far crash and burn. The forced induction vs normally aspirated will work itself out as the teams who wish to compete in Trophy Truck will figure it out as to what will work the best for their application!

, and now a STOCK or semi stock LS7 engine.
The engine is an LT4, direct injected & supercharged. Completely different animal from the LS7. But yes it is stock.

Score will so have to change their rules because forced induction will soon become more popular.

700hp 720tq stock..... Then we have a few tricks ! It runs a Life Racing F88 ECU so we have massive adjustability of the Direct Injection.

By "stock" you mean it broke the crank first time out, right?
