Any idea on what to search under on McMaster Carr? I looked on there and all I could find was wood tapering bits.

You need tapered reamers. This was just discussed in another thread as I recall.
Try AFCO.com, Portcityracing.com, and stockcarproducts.com
If you only have a couple to do, and don't expect to ever need to do this again then Snap-On sells a 'repair' reamer that will do the job but will moslt likely be toast when you're done. The up side is that it is $50 instead of $100.

Thanks, I found the taper reamers. But I have one more question. How do I figure out the correct taper reamer to buy? If it helps the Tie Rod End we are going to be tapering for is a 1 Ton Chevy 4x4 Tie Rod End.

Take two pieces of flat stock and drill different sized holes in them. Place both on the taper and measure the distance btwn the pieces. The difference in the RADIUS of the two holes is your altitude (A), and the distance btwn them + the thickness of the piece with the bigger hole is your base (B).

2*arcTan (A/B) = angle.
