Its cool to see how far that truck has come...it did finish 3rd at the V2R in '07 (in which I had one of my life's highlights co-doging a section and chasing the rest) behind Hall and Falkosky in 3100...

Quick question......If the rear is leaf springs why do you need a third link at the top of the differential?

it helps keep it all centered and with axle wraping. im sure those leafs go a long ways and they probably let the rearend walk a bit with no load on them

You nailed it! 12 1/2" shackles to handle those long National springs. The rear axle comes back 3" in the stroke.
