I personally saw the BroncoR apart at Allen motorsports while they were working on it for Cameron Steele. There was a engineer from Ford there and acknowledged that is in fact a f150 frame "we shipped a base model 2.7 ecoboost f150 to Geiser, the idea is to market the broncos powertrain", it is not a bronco frame. It has a Baja kits front kit with all new arms, spindles, hubs, steering and longer axles. Its over 90 inches wide. No way it can be a Ranger frame. Rear axle is Tubeworks.

Sadly it looks like The Class 2 Ford Factory Bronco won't be there this year so we've Evo'd our Class 2 Glickenhaus Boot into a Class 1 Bugggy.
That is a bummer for Ford. Curious, what was the top speed you were able to hit on Barstow Main? How well do you think you will be able to compete in an Unlimited Class?

Not yet sure but faster than Class 2 for sure. Mid class 1 which wouldn't be bad for a road legal Glickenhaus Boot.

No just a guess. I
Either way, we at RDC we admire your tenacity to push ahead and race a street-legal vehicle in Baja. As such a small auto manufacturer it is great to see you continuously push boundaries as to what is possible. The Boot vs Bronco was by far the most interesting rivalry in recent years in SCORE and gained MASSIVE media attention to our sport.

I have heard you guys have sold 40 of the Boots so far! Congratulations!

Thanks. We think our 4 Door Boot will make a great pre runner.

What ever the issues ford is having with the bronco, it's light years ahead in bringing it to the street legal market than the boot is. At least in the state they are building/developing it in.

I agree. But it will be light years behind the boot in off road performance.

We have delivered several road legal customer Boots so far and will deliver a bunch more in 2022. We are back ordered for a while and see delivering 150 of them in 2023. Our Boots will be fully crash tested, have ESC, ABS and TC. They will be 50 State EPA and CARB compliant and meet all FMVSS requirements. Our goal of becoming the first to finish the Baja 1000 in our zero emission Hydrogen FC Boot in 2022 is on track as is our competitively priced Hydrogen FC pickup truck that will be quickly refuel able 24/7 at an equivalent cost of $1.50 per gallon.
