The Speed Technologies team qualifies up front for the TSCO Vegas to Reno race

It has been some time since the last BITD race but that time off has not slowed down the Speed Technologies team. At the last race in Primm, The Terrible’s 250 the team had an amazing run leading overall for a while at the end of the race before an impact with a large rock required a quick tire change. While they lost the overall lead they maintained their Class 1 lead and took the class victory. For the legendary Vegas to Reno race that starts tomorrow morning the team will start just as the last race finished. Leading the Class 1 field thanks to an amazing qualifying effort by John Herder.

During the time off since the last desert race the Speed Technologies team has been very busy campaigning 7 trucks in the Lucas Oil Off Road Race Series and managing the SuperLite class that runs at the Lucas series. Also during the desert break the team has worked non-stop on their Class 1 cars, making various tweaks and changes. And those changes seem to have worked well as Herder will start the 3 day long race up front.

Good Luck Guys, you have a great team! Chasing last year for was alot of fun. We switched from BITD to M.O.R.E. for the rest of the year. So, if you need help at any BITD races or if you need help at the Baja 1000 again let us know.
