....but does anyone know where to get a lighted license plate frame? Summit has one for $40...yikes!! anybody seen one elsewhere, maybe cheaper, preferably in the OC area?

i've currently got a ghetto-rigged version, involving one of the 2 stock lights, some angle aluminum, and of course, zip ties...but i'd like to upgrade a bit....

thanks in advance

pep boys/kragen/auto zone only have them in the neon colors...green and pink....i was hoping to find just a regular white light, so i can mount it to the rear bumper/cage, kinda cleanly...YEAH, it's a bit disco, but i can live with that-better than what's there now....

Check out Car Custom or Johnny's Speed and Chrome too.
I've seen those cool billet (read:not Disco) ones there.

i'm kinda diggin these bolt/lites....zip tie the plate to the cage, drill a couple of holes in the top part, and throw these in 'em...any opinions?

Those look interesting. Where did you find them (website? autozone?)? I'm planning on building a rear bumper and will most likely need to get some license plate lights to stay street legal.
