I dont think so! , man! have u asked the wrong question in the wrong place! his tungsten movement and material feed are erratic and looks like he's melting filler away from pool instead of dipping filler into pool..each to thier own i suppose....:D where's my popcorn and deckchair? lol

This guy isnt the smoothest, but tig welding of heavy wall and large diameter piping is way different than welding tubing. His technique is pretty standard for industrial applications.;)

Didn't know what to say since I have 0 experience on TIG welding. I was trying to find a video showing the "action" and that's what I came up with.

I watched several of his vids...I believe this is the root pass, and because it's heavywall pipe you're going to need more tungsten out there to get to the bottom of the bevel...

It's interesting, but doesn't apply to many of the requests for race car welding videos...

Probably using a gas lens for the tungsten to stick out that far.

It would have been nice to see the weave when it was done.
