Off road motorcycle legend and former Honda great Tim Staab will be the honored guest at Road Runners’ Dist 38 Rattlesnake Chase this Sunday morning for the 9AM bike start (three 25 mile laps at Superstition Dip NW of El Centro).

Tim and mom Billie will be introduced at the 8:45AM Bike Rider’s Meeting, then will be “dropping the flag” for the Bomb Start at 9AM. Tim will be available at the Threat Racing/DP Racing EZ-ups on Pit Row after the race to meet and greet.

Plan on coming out for a great event!

Roadrunners & D38 are very excited that Tim Staab will be the honorary starter for this years Rattlesnake Chase. Tim was a D38 rider who held the #1 250 plate in 1995 before moving on to bigger and better things with Team Honda. He teamed with Johnny Cambell to win 4 Baja 1000 races (97, 99, 2000, 2001). They also won numorous Baja 500 titles and BITD races until an unfortunate accident in Nevada ended his racing career at the end of 2001. This is the 1st time Tim has been back to D38 in over a decade. Seve, a big thank you for bringing Tim & Billie down.
Welcome home Tim
